Meet Dan and Kara

A woman with blonde hair, glasses, and a colorful jacket stands in front of a man seated behind a desk, both smiling at an art gallery or antique store. The background features framed paintings and artwork, and a quilted wall hanging. The woman is resting her hand on the desk.

Kara grew up at auctions and garage sales, tagging along with her dad from the time she was small. Those early mornings stuck. When she and Dan moved into their first home together, they went all in on antiques, and it didn't take long before their cottage was full and they were selling finds on the side to make room for more.

That was over 30 years ago, and not much has changed, except the scale.

Kara knows textiles: mennonite quilts, log cabin patterns, hooked rugs. The weirder the design, the more she loves it. Ironstone, vintage clothing, ceramics, artwork- she is knowledgeable.
Dan started out as a car guy and still loves automobilia but his latest addiction is stereo equipment and vinyl. All the cool analog. Check out the back room for his latest finds.

Their daughters Kelsey and Hanna are integral to the business and support in so many ways! Especially at the Thornbury Antique Show!

Between the two of them, there isn't much they haven't seen and very little they can't tell you about.

A man with gray hair and glasses wearing a dark blue shirt is looking at items in a store. Behind him, there is a colorful quilt or fabric hanging on the wall, and the ceiling has black track lighting with spotlights. The store has wooden shelves and framed pictures on the wall.
A woman with blonde hair styled in a bun is standing in a vintage shop or gallery, surrounded by framed artwork on the walls and various decorative items on shelves. She is wearing a dark blazer with a patterned shirt underneath. In the foreground, there are postcards or greeting cards on display, and to her right, a colorful quilt with a geometric mosaic pattern hangs on the wall. A round wooden stool is visible nearby, and the space appears cozy and eclectic.
